A delegation of experts from the Albanian Agriculture and Rural Development Agency (ARDA) paid a working visit to the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution.
During the meeting chaired by Dr. Selda Çoşkun, ARDSI General Coordinator of Project Services, the experts from several HQ units briefed the visiting delegation on the activities carried out under the IPARD Programme. Topics included project selection and evaluation, pre-contract procedures, ex-ante and ex-post on the spot controls, payment processes, price indexing, interim payment procedures, the reference price database, and information systems infrastructure. The delegation's questions were also addressed during the session.
Visits to 5 IPARD-supported Enterprises
On the second day of the visit, the delegation observed in situ a selection of five enterprises in Ankara's Gölbaşı and Polatlı districts, which are supported ARDSI under the IPARD Programme with co-financing from Türkiye and the European Union.
Accompanied by General Coordinator Dr. Selda Çoşkun, and Project Monitoring and Control Coordinator Dr. İlhan Demirkan, the delegation first visited a 124-head capacity cattle stock farm, an apple grading, packaging, and storage facility, and a renewable energy project generating electricity from solar power in Gölbaşı district.
Subsequently, in Polatlı district, the delegation toured facilities producing baked products made with black mulberries and fruit drying facilities. They received information from the business owners and exchanged views during these visits.
