The General Coordination Meeting of the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution was held in Ankara.
Chaired by the Director Dr. Ahmet Antalyalı, the meeting took place in the Dursun Çolak Conference Hall. Discussions focused on the activities carried out in the first quarter of 2025, initiatives under the IPARD III 2025 Call Schedule, as well as evaluations concerning publicity activities and personnel rights.
In his opening remarks, Director Dr. Antalyalı emphasized the importance of transforming the approved projects into investments and shared insights and guidance about ceratin procedures to be followed in this process.
Dr. Antalyalı also underlined ARDSI’s continued support for innovative initiatives across all sectors of rural development, with particular focus on producer organizations, women, and young investors. He highlighted the significance of efforts aimed at strengthening Local Action Groups and enhancing their contributions to their respective regions.
Concluding his speech, Dr. Antalyalı stated:
"We will resolutely continue to fulfill our responsibilities in ensuring the integration of cutting-edge technologies in agriculture, adapting these technologies to rural investments, and enhancing efficiency and sustainability in all resulting projects."
In the latter part of the meeting, evaluations were made regarding the success of newly included provinces in the IPARD Programme as of last year, and the planned activities for the upcoming period were discussed. HQ coordinators delivered detailed presentations on planned efforts under the IPARD Programme, while provincial coordinators were also given the floor to share insights and engage in consultation.
